On Saturday, August 19, 6:00pm-10:00 pm there will be a free live concert on Green St. Listen to The Soda Crackers, Muleskinner Revival and 3 Bad Jacks Band. Local breweries will be serving delicious gold brews. Dance under the lights on green and enjoy being with friends.

Generations of locals enjoy and watch as our community participates in the 60th Tehachapi Mountain Festival Parade. Participates include government officials, local celebrities, painted horses , marching bands, classic cars, dance teams and so much more as we kick off the Mountain Festival weekend in style.

200 Classic Cars and Motorcycles gather on Sunday starting at 7:00 am. At Noon all of the cars start their engines for "Thunder on the Mountain".
This is a unique experience enjoyed by all.

Enjoy a peaceful and beautiful Sunday morning church service with prayer and song under 100 year old trees. Christian Life Assembly hosts this special service and provides donuts, and coffee. Everyone is invited to attend.

In 1985, the rodeo joined the ranks of what now includes over 900 rodeos in 48 states and 4 Canadian Provinces as a pro rodeo sanctioned by the PRCA. Every Mountain Festival weekend you have the opportunity to attend this fantastic event.
